Tales From The Rock 'N Roll Side Part 2 -  Brave The Storm : RCA : 1985

In 1985 Shy made their Major label Debut on R.CA. with the follow up to Once Bitten Twice Shy (1983).

The production was completely the opposite to their debut album, thanks to Producer Tony Platt and the whole album had a professional.

Stand out songs included the brilliant "Reflections" , and their debut single "Hold Onto Your Love", which a video was shot on a funfair ride.

Other songs that stand out for me is the title track "Brave The Storm", which has excellent keyboard and guitar segments. Production is top notch.

The only thing against the album is that the production is so good (wow) for an album in 1985, that the individual songs don't stand out, apart from "Refelctions / Brave The Storm".

One of the things I like about this albums songs and something I would Like Shy to bring back into their songs are the grand keyboard introductions. Overall though a superb album and a prelude to their best album - Excess All Areas - 1987, also on RCA.
