Brave The Storm was Shy's debut for R.C.A. and was produced by Tony Platt.
Shy made a video on a fun fair for "Hold Onto Your Love" and released both Hold Onto Your Love
and the brilliant power ballad "Reflections" as singles. Reflections had first appeared on the band's
debut album "Once Bitten Twice Shy", but this time the song (possibly the best song Shy have ever done)
got the production it deserved. The fact it wasn't a hit is almost criminal in my opinion.
Shy went on tour with Twelth Night, Twisted Sister and U.F.O.
The album was promoted by touring the U.K. , anf the singles listed above.
However this was a difficult album to promote as it wasn't an easy album to define , and R.C.A. wasn't
sure (along with the band) as to what area of rock/metal this album fell into to.
This was shown by the three bands they supported -
