Shy Tour 1987 - Excess All Areas  

In 1987 Shy went on tour to promote the release

of the excellent "Excess All Areas" album on R.C.A.

 SHY supported Meat Loaf , Bon Jovi (Nec), and Gary Moore.

The tour went right across Europe, including the U.K. with Gary Moore.

The singles released were "Break Down The Walls" & "Young Heart"

Break Down The Walls gained some valuable radio airplay and went down well Europe.

A third single was released : " Just Love Me" on FM/Revolver

The band played 2 nights at Hammersmith Odeon (Support to Gary Moore)

and 2 nights headlining the world famous Marquee club.

The album spent a short while in the U.K. Top 75.

Shy also played the Reading Rock Festival - which was a great success.

Shortly afterwards Shy were dropped by R.C.A. just when things seemed to be picking up.

Shy went looking for another record deal, next stop :Misspent Youth
