Sunset & Vine - New SHY album - Latest News
The New SHY album is "Sunset & Vine". The album has been released in Japan /Asia through Marquee Avalon. The album is doing well with a high entry in HMV & Tower Records.
Sunset & Vine has now been released in Europe, through MTM records. Sunset & Vine is the follow up to the critically acclaimed Unfinished Business and is nearly 62 minutes long. Steve Harris has been hard at work with multi layered guitar tracks. This album will feature twin guitars, with a welcome to Ian Richardson, guitarist formerly with Siam
With the departure of Paddy McKenna, Keyboards are played by Joe Baskettes, keyboard player on "Cruiser" - Tony Mills first solo album. As Tony has said on his web site, Joe has been a vital member of Shy on this album, and all round talented musician.
Contrary to popular belief the album does feature Keyboards, but will also strongly feature twin guitar approach, colouring the music rather than obvious keyboards. I, like many Shy fans love the Keyboards on their albums, and when you listen to the new album you will be glad to know that keyboards are still very much in evidence. The follow up to Unfinished Business was never going to be easy, but I'm glad to say that it is a worthy follow up. My review of the album is on the Sunset & Vine Review Page. Track listing below:
